Ms Rodica Dinu, Shiatsu, craniosacral & Reflexology
Rodica was born in Romania to parents who were her inspiration. Her mother, a teacher inspired her to work with children and young people and her father who was an athlete, taught her the importance of fitness and health. As a result she began as a physical education teacher and taught for 22 years in Romania, everything from elementary school to highschool. She was a European handball player from the age of 15-30 and the coach of the National Handball team from 1980-1994.

It was during that time that she learned a great deal about anatomy and physiology and treating sports injuries. In Europe this treatment includes massage therapy, European style. Rodica and her husband and daughter came to Canada in 1994. While they lived in Toronto Rodica received a diploma as a Chiropractic Health Assistant. She also received her certificate in shiatsu therapy and reflexology in Toronto.

Shortly after arriving in Windsor she began working at Ottawa Mall Healing Arts Centre and has been here for over 7 years. She has been a valuable member of the staff and also assists Dr. Crnec from time to time as well.

Further post-graduate training includes a certificate in CranioSacral therapy that she received from the Upledger Institute. Rodica’s patients are always impressed with the level of compassion and caring that she shows them and the obvious passion that she has for her work.

Because she has always been fitness orientated Rodica enjoys Yoga and Pilates and her creative side results in therapies that combine all of these techniques. Each treatment is customized for the needs of that particular patient.

Rodica tries to teach by example and is very enthusiastic about her own level of fitness, eating right and living a balanced life.

She is happiest when she is working hard and she looks forward to many more years of providing wellness care to her patients.
