Samantha Gerassimou was born in Windsor and was raised in a traditional Greek family. She was drawn to massage therapy as a result of her desire to help others. After researching many health care careers, massage therapy seemed to be the right path.

She graduated from the Darcy Lane Institute of Massage Therapy, London, Ontario in November 2002. She has been practicing massage therapy since 2003 and joined the Ottawa Mall Healing Arts Centre in February 2005.

She is currently practicing both relaxation and therapeutic massage. She has a level one certificate in Reiki and plans to pursue that special interest further. She has also added aromatherapy to the services she offers.

Samantha volunteers within the community and has facilitated a workshop on the health benefits of massage for the workers at The Children’s Rehabilitation Centre.

Samantha enjoys spending time with friends and family. She enjoys all types of music, movies, water sports and dancing.

Each time she hears positive results from patients she is sure she has chosen the right career path and looks forward to many years of caring for patients and contributing to her community wherever possible.
